Accessibility
The 18th Question
This site is one page with one form. It is built to work without a mouse, without a trackpad, and without sight.
What is in place
- Every field has a label a screen reader announces, including the ones drawn only as placeholder text.
- The whole page can be used from the keyboard, and whatever has focus shows it.
- The answer to the form is announced, not only shown.
- Text resizes with the browser rather than being pinned in place.
- Nothing moves, flashes, or plays on its own.
Where it falls short
The page is set in light type on black, and small capitals with wide letter-spacing. That is a deliberate look, and it is harder to read than plain text — particularly the smallest lines at the foot of the page. If any of it is hard to read, say so and it will be changed; that is a better outcome than a design nobody mentions.
Telling us
If something here keeps you out, write to the practice and describe what happened. An accessibility problem is a fault like any other and is fixed like one.
